Hi everyone - Merry Christmas!
On Sunday 4th December 2011, some friends and I will be taking part in the Santa Run - that's 5km around Greenwich Park in London -- wearing a Santa suit!
Why? Because we're supporting a fantastic little charity called Developing Technologies (DT) which really needs funding for next year in order to continue its cool projects to help some of the poorest people in the world.
DT uses the willing skills of talented engineering students at City University and Imperial College to make simple, low-cost gizmos that people in developing countries can use and maintain by themselves.
Take a look at www.developingtechnologies.org to find out more about what they are doing, and then please give what you can to support them.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
