Story

Breaking News:

I MADE IT ! !!!!!
21 LONG, TIRING MILES - BUT GOOD WEATHER, AND GREAT WALKING COMPANIONS.
SUFFERING FROM BLISTERS (well almost), INNER THIGH CHAFING (oooohhh!), AND VERY SORE FEET/ HEELS    WHICH MEANS WALKING IS HARD......BUT OTHERWISE I'M OK ;-)

Many thanks to my sponsors!
God bless you all.

The challenge - 21 Miles
Yes - I've registered for the CRY Walk again - I have chosen the longest distance of 21 miles this year, which compares to 20 miles I managed in 2008 and 2007.

Excuses
HOWEVER - this year has not exactly been the easiest for me with a foot sprain and some back niggles - must be old age creeping in! It's also been a very busy year for me at work, and we have also moved house to Fair Oak. My normally regular gym sessions have taken a hit becase of all this, although I plan to pack in all the exercise I can now in the last 4 weeks before the Walk. 21 miles IS a long way - I found the last 3 or 4 miles last year quite hard going.

How can YOU help?
Well, I unashamedly ask you to share your resources to sponsor me for this great cause - the money raised this year will mostly go towards supporting the Home of Hope orphanage in Albania, a project I have personally visited.  Oh, and by the way, the charity will take nothing out of my sponsorship money for adminstration etc.
