Canine Partners aims to transform the lives of people with disabilities, enabling them to live more independently by partnering them with highly trained assistance dogs. These dogs respond to a wide range of commands, enabling them to carry out a vast number of tasks that enable their partner to live more independently and free lives. 

As one of the beneficiaries of the Charity's work, I discovered just what a difference a dog could make to my independence and wellbeing. Zack, my dog,  opened doors for me, picked up objects I'd dropped and brought me things I couldn't reach. His loving character and company helped to keep my mental health on the straight and narrow too.
