On Sunday 14th September I will be taking part in the Birmingham Half Marathon. I would like to say I am prepared and have trained for weeks but sadly I don't think I am. I'm hoping that with a few more weeks training and the atmosphere and support on the day, one way or another I will get around!

I am running to support a registered charity called LoveBrum which is a registered charity that supports hidden gem projects across Birmingham that are often volunteer-led and that deliver real change, with outcomes that can be seen, measured, enjoyed, and loved.

LoveBrum supports the ‘hard-to-reach’ projects; those causes that do not receive the platform or funding that they probably deserve. They aim to support over 30 projects per year and to reach out to all corners of the city to remind people how great Birmingham is.

Every penny raised from individual memberships and fundraising stays in Birmingham and goes straight to the chosen causes.
