Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
To mark retiring and a 60th birthday I am doing a walk in Switzerland, Austria and Italy, from 1st July to 31st August.
I will be walking on the Green and Yellow routes of the Via Alpina (http://www.via-alpina.org) for about 45 days, from Lenk in Switzerland to Bolzano in Italy, and then doing some further walking in the Dolomites and Julian Alps.
Its an incredible opportunity for me to do something I love, but it seems selfish not to give people in real need the opportunity to benefit from my good luck. So I shall be making a donation to Send a Cow, and Afghan Aid, if and when I reach the Merano refuge, after crossing the Alps at an altitude of about 10000 feet. And I thought I would ask any friends who want to, to make a donation as well.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.
