We’re ZSL, an international conservation charity, and our vision is a world where wildlife thrives. We’re working every day to achieve this, through our science, our field conservation around the world and engaging millions of people through our two Zoos, ZSL London Zoo and ZSL Whipsnade Zoo.

Story

OK so if you know me you will know I like sport, but the complete hate of my life is training, and running.  So at this point you might think why are you doing it.  Well sometimes you do things you dont like or go the extra mile when you support something that you believe in or want to stretch your own personal goals.

Conservation is one such cause that I have always supported, maybe not from tree hugging hippy style, but by supporting The Zoological Society of London (ZSL) over the years and lucky enough I live 5 minutes away from Whipsnade zoo so see on a regular basis the work that ZSL are doing to conserve the worlds rare and endangered wildlife.

So this year for the first time I have decided to combine 2 of my life activities to run for a charity rather then just for my own personal pain.  So for my pain I will be in (I couldnt walk for a week after Edinburgh) donations will make me feel a little more comfortable and you will be in the knowledge that your donation will be put to good use by ZSL in various conservation projects in London, Whipsnade or any of the global projects that they are supporting.

Thanks for your support and will think of this as I run.
