My story

Hi Everyone,

Well thats me finished the Elephant Cycle Tour arriving in Fort William at around 2.30pm on Friday, August 20th. A magical experience which I will treasure for the rest of my life. All in all 366 miles cycled, 18 ferries utilised, 14 Islands visited, around 12,000 calories burned, and a very sore back side. Met some friends, family and some lovely people on my travels, many contributed to the Elephant funds which was fantastic.

Together with friends, I also managed to scale the 4,409 feet of Ben Nevis on Saturday 20th August. The weather was overall fairly poor but that did not dampen our enthusiasm to get the job done. By 3pm on Saturday the Mountain was climbed and my adventure was over.

I have so far raised just over £8,176.86p (including Gift Aid) and which adds contributions from family, friends, work colleagues, people who I met on my trip and people who have donated online who I have never met before, just fantastic. Thanks so much for the donations to date, the Just Giving page is open until the end of September, I add a montage of photoes and vidoes taken on my trip to share with you all what an amazing experience I had;
