Once again, I am taking part in the annual Mad Maldon Mud Race in support of Help For Heroes.
The Maldon Mud Race is a race across the mud flats of the River Blackwater, through the river, and back again. Sounds easy?...try it! It's a great laugh, especially for the spectators, and has raised money for charities over many years.
Help For Heroes raises money and awareness to support the service men and women of our armed forces wounded in the service of their country. The work of Help For Heroes helps provide valuable practical help in the form of recuperation facilities and equipment, as well as much needed moral support to the troops and their families.
