From 28th October to 6th November 2011 I shall be ascending Africa's second highest peak, Mount Kenya, to raise money for International Childcare Trust. This fantastic charity partners local grassroots non-governmental organisations in Africa and Asia that protect children’s rights - in particular organisations that address both the causes and effects of child poverty and sickness and that advance the education of children who are in a condition of need, hardship or distress. I shall be visiting the project in Kakamega during my trip where any support you can give will go a long way to improving young lives.
