My story

Hi!

Thanks for visiting my 'JustGiving' page.

A few months ago my brother-in-law sent me an email in the middle of the work day asking if I 'fancied' a bike ride for charity in June and linked me to the Nightrider website (http://www.nightrider.org.uk/). I was a bit distracted at the time, so on Sunday 9th June at 1am I shall be setting off on a 100km cycle around London through the night. Just in case you skimmed that bit, I said ONE IN THE MORNING.

I haven't cycled this sort of distance for over a a decade, so I don't how long it's going to take; if I had to guess, I'd say meet me at the finish line at 9:30am or 10am if you want to applaud a sweaty wreck who has earned brunch but just wants bed. Top of the hill at Alexandra Palace. It's gonna be a 'party'. If you let me know you're going to be there I'll make sure to bring some eggs for breakfast.

If you feel like giving some of your money to the charity which I'm doing this for, that'd be REALLY great, and I'd appreciate it very much. Check them out here: http://www.jdrf.org.uk/

Now, here's the info on JustGiving:

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So if you think it's a worthwhile cause that deserves some of your money, please dig deep and donate now.
