To celebrate my 50th year on this earth I have decided to throw myself out of a plane to have a good look at it from above!!(The eath that is not the plane).
I am hoping that when I do this a very nice young man will save me and open a parachute.
As I am doing this very silly thing (that's what Richard calls it) I thought it would be a good idea to raise some money at the same time so I am asking you to sponsor me.
I am raising money for Hope and Aid Direct.
This charity is special to Faringdon as at least once a year we send our own lorry with local drivers full of things donated by the people of our town to be part of the Hope and Aid convoy. The trucks take aid to the people of Kosovo and other Bulkan states and actually distribute it whilst they are there to the people who need it most.
Although the media rarely feature anything about the Bulkans anymore there are still thousands of displaced people who are extremely poor and have no way of earning a living to support their families.
