On Sunday 29th May I am taking part in the Community Fun Run to raise money for Kisharon, a charity for children and adults with learning disabilities that has changed my life. Now I want to give something back and raise desperately needed funds to give others the wonderful opportunities that I have had.

When I was 17 years old I went to Kisharon College for four years that gave me the confidence to go to Israel to study. When I came back Kisharon helped me find a flat and supported me to live on my own. Even though I have Down’s Syndrome, I started working at the Kisharon Business Centre, did an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare and I now have a job at a primary school which I love.

Kisharon has given me my independence and although I don’t find running easy, I would do anything for Kisharon. By sponsoring me, you will be helping me to give something back and change a life.

I needed help and others do too, so help me help them PLEASE!
