We campaign, support and fund research to stop people dying of bowel cancer

Story

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page.

As Chief Executive of Bowel Cancer UK, I hear too many tragic stories of lives that could have been saved if things had been different. I care deeply about all bowel cancer patients, but right now I am focusing on patients under 50.  That's because too many are diagnosed late when treatment is much tougher and are not benefiting from information and support that is targetted specifically to meet their needs.  I want to help change that.

If you want to find out more about why I'm fundraising please visit my blog:

Over the rest of 2013, I will be fundraising as part of our Never too Young campaign which you can read more about on our website.  www.bowelcanceruk.org.uk

As I can't raise £50K on my own, we are asking people to join me to reach this target so we can develop our information and support services for patients under 50.  Therefore, this justgiving page will include the funds I raise plus the amounts others raise towards this campaign so we can show the progress we are making in meeting our goal. Please join us - you can even join the Challenge 50K team by setting up your own Justgiving page and linking it to that team.

I'm starting my fundraising by doing a tandem skydive on 20th April 2013!

If you want to make a real difference to younger bowel cancer patients, if this matters to you, if this resonates with you then please dig deep and sponsor me, every pound will make a difference.

Thank you.

Deborah
