My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A team of 8 of us are trekking to Everest Base Camp in November 2011. The team: Me!, Matt Brereton-Patel, Babs Mackey, Lizzie Mackey, Nick De Sousa, Dave Atkinson, Richard Wyers and Nicky Moore.

Why?  For The Break Out Project, a charity helping street and slum children in India.

We will be trekking for 12 days, up to a height of around 5548 metres.  The air will be thin, with temperatures reaching -18 degrees and we'll be carrying our own kit.

Any donations would be gratefully received, and since every penny goes directly to helping these children (not towards any admin costs), you will be making a real difference.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
