Do you have information on the work of MSF that I can pass to my potential sponsors?

• Certainly, we can send you leaflets and copies of our newsletter Dispatches, just send an email to Samuel Knight with how many copies you think you will need.

Do you have an MSF T-shirt for me to wear during the event?

• T-shirts are available, for free, in a range of sizes in both female and male versions. If you would like one, please e-mail Samuel Knight at sam.knight@london.msf.org

Does MSF hold places in the London Marathon and other organised runs?

• Unfortunately, we do not hold any charity places in marathons and other runs. Supporters have taken part in such events for us in the past, but it has been through gaining their own place, for example with the Flora London Marathon you would need to enter their ballot for a place.

I would like to approach companies for sponsorship, is this OK?

• We are happy for you to approach companies for sponsorship, many companies in fact match the sponsorship raised by their staff, which is great. However, MSF does have a corporate gift acceptance policy that we must follow in all areas of our fundraising. If you are hoping to raise sponsorship from companies, please contact Samuel for a copy of our policy.

Not everyone will want to sponsor me online, how should I collect this money and whom should I send it to?

• Collecting sponsorship online is the most efficient way to raise funds for MSF and for you to keep track of your fundraising. However, if some people do not have access to the Internet we do have paper sponsorship forms that we can send to you. If you receive cash donations we would prefer that you bank these and send in one cheque to cover the amount. If your sponsors would like to make out cheques to MSF, these can be made payable to Médecins Sans Frontières. It is easier for us to keep track of your fundraising if you were to collect all the cheques and then send them in at the end of your event, please can these be sent for the attention of Samuel Knight to

Can I raise money for a particular MSF programme?

• If you would like to raise funds for a specific country or crisis in which MSF is working, please call Samuel Knight to discuss further. It is usually possible, but we will need to be informed, so that funds coming through your web page are allocated correctly.
