Fair Havens Hospice provides respite breaks, symptom control and end-of-life care for adults living with serious conditions and illnesses such as cancer. It aims to make their journey - and that of the family - as comfortable as possible, creating special memories along the way. The love and care provided by the Care Team in the homely surroundings at Fair Havens is as special and unique as the patient. This could not continue without kind donations as it costs £2.8 million each year to keep the hospice open.

My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 4th October myself and Dan are taking part in the Southend 10k classic run, in memory of Dans Grandads who have both sadly passed away very recently.

Whilst this page is set up with all money raised being sent to The Fair Havens Hospice, Dans justgiving page is set up so all money raised goes to The Stroke Association. This will go towards much needed research and knowledge.

Both Dans Grandads were loving and devoted husbands, fathers, Grandads and Great Grandads, and are sorely missed by all who knew them.

Any donation you would like to give would be greatly appreciated and every little helps.

Once you donate, just giving will send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
