Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for The Butterfly Appeal for About Face.
The charity that I am supporting this time is a small charity called 'The Butterfly Appeal for About Face'. This small charity was established 10
years ago who are committed in helping patients diagnosed with neck or
head cancer.
The money that they have raise so far, had been used to
support young doctors in training and specialist nurses to provide
better care and support for patients and their family.
Like everyone else, I personally have experienced the pain of losing a love one to cancer and it was my grandad. This summer, I am trekking the Great Wall of China to raise funds for About Face. The reason I have chosen this charity is because I would like to try raise awareness of this small charity and most importantly I will know the funds will be put into good use.
I know this is a lot of money to raise and being in the credit crunch, I know not everyone is well off but I will be very gratefully for any amount donated and I promise to put more determination in training to make sure I reach my goal in May.
