During the month of November myself, and a few of my reprobate friends, are taking part in Movember to raise money for prostate cancer research. The idea being that you grow a MOustache in the month of November, hence Movember! You have to start completely clean shaven on the morning of the 1 of November and for the full month cultivate your moustache all in the name of charity.

Now many of you that know me might notice that I am a “bearded” man and as such I haven’t had a wet shave in about 3 years. So, the moustache growing I can cope with but, the thought of being completely clean shaven, even if for a day or so, terrifies me! On a serious note though, I don’t ever ask for anyone to sponsor me to do something stupid, I’m quite capable of doing that under my own steam! This however can affect all men no matter what age and it ultimately did with my Granddad Ron.

So please, if you can, spare a little for my handlebar all in the name of a good cause. If anything you get to see me looking ridiculous for a month!
