Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page for Emma, Rob, Graham, Michael and James.
WE HAVE NOW COMPLETED OUR CLIMB OF SNOWDON TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE TURNER SYNDROME SUPPORT SOCIETY. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT! We are however keeping this page open, so if you would like to donate, please do.
Rachel (Emma and Rob's daughter), was diagnosed with Turner Syndome (TS) pre-natally. TS is a chromosonal abnormality that only affects females. It is a lifelong condition that requires continuing medical and emotional support. As a baby, Rachel fought all the odds, surviving a very risky pregnancy then heart surgery at a day old, from which she made an amazing recovery. Her fighting spirit continues as she faces new hurdles as well as many familiar ones, including daily growth hormone injections.
Through all of this, we have had the support of the TSSS, a small but vitally important charity in the lives of those affected by Turner Syndrome. In these tough times, smaller charities like the TSSS are finding it particularly difficult to raise funds which is why we are doing this now. Please help us to support the TSSS so they can continue the great work they do in supporting those with TS, their families and also in raising awareness of this condition. (Please see www.tss.org.uk if you would like more information.)
Thank you VERY much!
Emma, Rob, Graham, Michael and James.
