My story
East Africa is facing one of the worst droughts in 60 years. As a consequence 11 million people in East Africa are now facing starvation. During a food crisis, malnutrition means people are more vulnerable to disease: cases of life threatening illnesses such as diahorrea and measles are on the rise. The increase in vulnerability to disease affects children worst. Our members agencies are working to save lives: delivering food and clean water, vaccinating children and providing life-saving health-care. Please donate - you will save lives. £20 can vaccinate 20 children against deadly measles £50 can feed a family of six for two weeks £100 can buy four family hygiene kits to prevent the spread of disease
