On July 21-24, I am hoping to walk the entire length of the Teesdale Way in England, from the River Tees source in Dufton, Cumbria to the river mouth in Redcar. 100 miles in 4 days, to help my brother celebrate his 50th birthday. I have been training for this walk for over 6 months.
As part of the celebration, my brother has asked the walkers to raise money for his charity of choice - The Methodist Relief and Development Fund - with the aim that we raise enough money to install a fresh water supply for a community in Uganda, where 5,000 children die each day of diseases caused by unclean water & poor sanitation.
