So this year, I'm fundraising for Families Need Fathers - the name is actually a bit deceiving. This charity supports single parents - both mums and dads - and the work they do is aimed to give single parents a fair chance to maintain positive relationships with their children. Some of you know why this is important to me - if you don't we need to drink many beers and catch up!!

I'm also training like a b*stard to make it through the 13 miles. Those of you who have done half marathons before - 'nuff said. Those who don't - all you get from running is hundreds of blisters, lots of pain, and a bit of pride and glory, which means NOTHING during the actual run.

So please, release your inner Angelina and at least give generously to Families Need Fathers! :-p
