Story
On Wednesday 3rd October I will be modelling in the Breast Cancer Care fashion show; this will be my first time ever on a professional catwalk! All of the models who take part in this special event, like me, have experienced a diagnosis of breast cancer. The Show is an amazing occasion of fashion, fundraising and inspiration.
Last year's show raised over £380,000 and this money made a vital difference to Breast Cancer Care. The reality is that there are more than half a million people in the UK today who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, and every year another 50,000 hear the news that they have the disease. Thanks to the generosity of people like you supporting The Show, Breast Cancer Care is here for every one of them, providing expert information and skilled emotional and practical support when it's needed most.
You may decide that you want to dig a little deeper in your pocket as a donation, in which case for £160 I can arrange for you to come along to The Show at The Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair. For this you will be welcomed by a champagne reception at this luxurious 5-star venue, and once seated, you can enjoy a three-course meal inclusive of wine, accompanied by first-class entertainment. Then, experience the electric atmosphere that fills the Great Room as I (and the other models) take to the catwalk. Please make sure you contact me to book this as not only will it be cheaper, but I can make sure that those supporting me will be seated together. You can email me at doug.eharper@virginmedia.com Further information on The Show can be found on the official website by clicking here.
Since my diagnosis I have been writing a blog to raise awareness of breast cancer in men, you may want to have a read of it at One of 300 men
Thank you for sponsoring me and showing your support!
