My story

 
With the help of supporters like you, we are working through the current recession, but we are experiencing a drop in our donations.  We need to ask you to consider if you can offer further help.

With your help we can maintain the quality and quantity of end of life care during the coming year to someone, perhaps not far from you, who may turn to the Hospice because of a life threatening illness, with your help we can be there for them and their families at a time when they need our care most. 

 

It is incredibly important that the Hospice receives more donations because the demands on our care services are greater than ever; both here in the Hospice and in patients own homes.  Did you know ?  … that around two thirds of the £7 million needed to run the Hospice each year is given by kind and generous people like you.

 

Each day we care for 28 patients on our In-Patient unit, around 25 people visit our Day Hospice; we are in contact with over 600 patients in their own homes and we also provide round-the-clock, home care for many of these patients in the final days of their life.
