Hi and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This will my first of hopefully many marathons to come and I'm not quite sure if I know what I've let myself in for!

I am running for Kith & Kids, (charity no. 1080972), their overall aim is to empower families living with disability to overcome their social isolation and access the services they need. Kith and Kids is now in its 40th year and excels in providing support, activities and a common meeting ground for families who have a person with learning, physical and/or sensory disabilities to share experiences and support each other who support children and young people with learning disabilities and help their families to access the services which they need to overcome social isolation.

Listed below is how some of the money is spent so you can get a better of idea of how the charity opperates:

1. £5 will help buy sports or art equipment for weekend clubs and projects

2. £25 could allow one person to enjoy a day out of their choice with two trained colunteers

3. £50 will help pay for parents with recently disabled children to attend two support group sessions

Asa bit of a warm up and to show how serious I am about this cause, I will also be running the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon as well on February 28th.

I'm aiming to raise £1500.00+ so if you are able to make any donation, no matter how small, it would be appreciated a lot.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many thanks for your time and support,

Drew
