Myself and a few friends are taking a seine boat to London and rowing "The Great River Race" on Saturday 5 September.

The 22 mile trek will take us from Greenwich to Richmond and should hopefully take about 3 and a half hours!

We are raising money for a new project called "It's in the bag" launched by "Above and Beyond" Charities. The project has been set up by nurses etc that are helping me through my treatment for Testicular Cancer. It involves making all GP's in the country aware of the symptoms attached to testicular cancer in young men. Statistics have shown that every GP will have one case like mine in their career, so by making as many of them aware as possible is surely a good thing.

The project also includes setting up a support group for patients like myself and those close to them, which is also a worthwhile cause and would have been very useful ten months ago!

If this was operating twelve months ago, I may not have had to have gone through the last ten months, the way I have!
