3 peaks. 500 + miles. 30,632 feet of ascent. One wo/man. One bike. That is what this challenge is all about. . .as well as raising shedloads of money for charity!
 
In memory of Paul Lee Davis, karter, friend and funster who died of leukaemia prematurely last year and to raise money for the charity set up in his name which gives days out and treats to the terminally ill and Leukaemia Research UK.  The challenge is to climb the three highest peaks in Wales, England and Scotland and cycle in between. Taking place between 4th - 11th May 2013 the provisional itinerary is:


Day 1 Saturday 4th May: Cycle from G-Y-G Kart Circuit (A) after one circuit thereof on bikes to Pen-y-Pass (B) 36K/450 M of ascent Climb and descend Snowdon via Miners/Pyg track. Cycle to Abergele (C) 49K/703M of ascent. (Total cycling 85K/1153M or 53 miles/3782 feet)

Day 2 Sunday 5th May: Cycle from Abergele (C) to Preston (D) (Cycling 160K/720M or 100 miles/2361 feet)

Day 3 Monday 6th May: Cycle from Preston (D) to Dalton in Furness (E) (Cycling 107K/675M).

Day 4 Tuesday 7th May: Cycle from Rowrah Kart Circuit (E) after one circuit thereof on bikes to Wasdale Head (F)50k/856M. Climb and descend Scafell Pike. (Total cycling 50K/856M or 39 miles/2808 feet)

Day 5 Wednesday 8th May: Cycle from Wasdale Head (F) to Lockerbie (G) (Cycling 153K/675M or 96 miles/2214 feet)

Day 6 : Thursday 9th May: Cycle from Lockerbie (G) to Larkhall Kart Circuit (H) 86K/622M Cycle one circuit of Larkhall Kart Circuit (H)then cycle to Balloch (I) 72K/275M (Total cycling 158K/897M or 99 miles/2942 feet)

Day 7 Friday 10th May: Cycle from Balloch (I) to Fort William (J)(Cycling136K/956M or 85 miles/3116 feet)

Day 8 Saturday 11th May: Climb and descend Ben Nevis

Total distance cycled = 849 Km or 530 miles. Total ascent climbed
9339M or 30,632 feet - higher than Everest! (8,848M - 29,021 feet)
