Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We are organising and taking part in a 10k run along the cliff tops of North Norfolk with some friends. We are doing this because we want to raise money and awareness for Epilespy. Epilespy is the charity we wanted to do this for because our cousin Ellen sadly died of it back in 2006. We chose to do a run because we enjoy running, doing the local ParkRun and train with the North Norfolk Harriers.

Also running the 10k and from the North Norfolk Harriers; Madi Hewitt, Maggie Gentry, Finlay Swanson, Jake Armstrong, Noah Downes and Ethan Davis.

I (Caitlin) was only 5 years old when Ellen died. I can't remember lots about Ellen but know she was sporty. My main memory is Ellen teaching me to roll my tongue and when Ellen painted our nails.

I (Sophie) was only 3 when Ellen died. I have seen so many photos and videos. I  would loved to have had an older girl cousin and want to raise money to help treat Epilepsy.

About the charity

The Epilepsy Research Institute’s mission is to radically advance research for the 1 in 100 people living with epilepsy. A life free from epilepsy is possible. But only through research.
