EST Manchester provides riding therapy for children with disabilities and special needs across the North West and also provides animal assisted therapy to the elderly and infirm. Our kitchen is woefully inadequate and we are the only Centre which does not have a sensory room - so we are raising funds to make a conversion which will achieve both.

FIRST EVENT

Mike Coombes (Debbie the manager's hubby) and his friends Glen and Andy are rising to the coast to coast mountain bike challenge to help us to achieve this.

The Coast 2 Coast is a mainly off-road cycling from St Bee's Head to Robin Hood Bay, a distance of 210 miles. The route will take them across spectacular scenery, starting in the Lake District (up and over the passes !!) crossing the Pennines and finally the North York Moors.

They are covering all the associate costs themselves and the event coincides with International Donkey Week.

If we raise more funds than we need for the conversion work then they will be used to support EST Manchester's other work.

Further information about our work can be found at www.elisabethsvendsentrust.org.uk
