Story

In November 2008 one of my best mates, Kate, was injured in Afghanistan and ultimately had her left leg amputated below the knee. Kate has been a massive inspiration to me personally but now through her work with Walking with the Wounded she is becoming an inspiration to so many other people. In November she will travel to Antarctica with the British team where they will race teams from the US and the Commonwealth to the South Pole.

I am running the Dublin half marathon next weekend for this charity. I appreciate that charity donations are a very personal thing, however, if you are able to make a donation it would be greatly appreciated (even just €1). Learn more about Kate and the trip to the South Pole;
