I'm doing a ten-mile walk through London for a Penguin-backed charity that works in Sri Lanka (amongst other countries) called Room to Read. Not the toughest assignment you'll agree, but they are a good cause. This is their spiel:

Room to Read seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in developing countries by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education.  They have proposed a project that will enable the publication of brightly coloured local language children’s books and place them in the hands of children throughout the developing world, including the wonderful Ekamuthu Preschool in Sri Lanka which is being constructed now with funding from Penguin.
