On 22nd July I will be cycling the 230 miles (thats 377km. Yes, 377km) from Big Ben to the Eiffel Tower. I'm cycling to raise money for the Big Issue, a charity whose work helps the most vulnerable people in our community find direction and take control of their lives.
Last November me and my trusty bike, Pam, got a little too up close and personal with an articulated lorry. Now, two broken wrists, a broken middle finger and a mangled bike later, I've decided that I need to channel my new-found hatred of lorry drivers into something constructive. I've seen a map, and 230 miles is a long way (it didn't seem quite so long when I was lying in bed being brought sympathy chocolates), and to even get to the start line I need to raise £1,300. But with your help, I'll be on my way.
Anything you can spare will be gratefully received and if you sponsor me over £10, I promise not to subject you to slide-shows of me in my oh-so-sexy cycling leggings.
Thank you!
