I am going to Ghana with Explorers in the summer of 2011 to re-decorate and re-furnish the mothers ward at a hospital in Hohoe. The mothers ward is for mothers who have to stay in hospital while their children get the treatment they require. At the moment, the mothers ward is very old and has no comforts at all, such as curtains or even beds. We wish to change this, and make their lives, more comfortable, whilst supporting their child, to fight another day.
