My story
For those of you who didn't get to meet our beautiful daughter, here she is.
Ellie suffered from a condition called hypophosphatasia- a very rare bone disorder. Most babies don't survive the pregnancy or even delivery- Ellie did both. And with the best care of the staff of Gloucester's SCBU she survived for 19 days.
For those of you who have had children and for those hoping for children, even the best is not always enough. Steve and I are forever grateful for the care they gave Ellie and the support they gave us.
However, the staff would not have been able to do this without the best facilities, training and equipment that the unit has to give. They managed to give Ellie and us 19 days together. To continue giving this care and support the unit needs funds so please give generously.

Scoo-B-Doo works alongside Gloucester Royal Special Care Baby Unit to buy the best and most advanced equipment available to help save babies in need of special care. Through it's fundraising efforts for advanced equipment for example - ventilators, incubators and monitors, Scoo-B-Doo helps to give its tiny patients the best possible chance of life.
