Hi, welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After telling myself for the last three years that I would like to run the London Marathon I have finally decided to bite the bullet and do it! And I have a really good reason to do it too.Not all of you visiting this page will necessarily know this but my mother passed away in April 2007 after suffering with an immune deficiency condition for her whole life. The PiA is a charity which exists to support people living with Primary Immunodeficiencies just like my Mum. They liaise with clinicians and immunologists, fund relevant research and campaign for the rights of their members in the UK.
If the PiA can help and support just one more family or person with this disease then I think that raising some money and running the London Marathon is totally worth it and I hope you do too. Now for the fun bit:Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
However much you can give, big or small would be much appreciated and help me to stick out the horrible wintery, dark and usually wet runs I am currently enjoying! Many Thanks.
Emma x
