I am literally going to be in the dog house at the end of this month as I'm doing a sponsored sleepover on Wed 27th June at Daybreaks Kennels - home of Perry Barr Retired Greyhound Trust http://www.rgtperrybarr.co.uk/

Many of you will know we have adopted 4 Daybreaks' greyhounds (Kevin, Sadie, Moomin and Frankie) and to say thank you to Ruth for trusting us with these amazing creatures I would like to help her in her mission to make the kennels an even more fab place than it is already.

At a cost of £6000, Daybreaks is renovating six kennels to make these wonderful dogs as comfortable as possible while they wait for their new home. Daybreaks have already rehomed almost 1500 dogs who would otherwise have been discarded (or worse) at the end of their racing life.

Yes it is a bit odd, and no I won't be bringing all my hounds with me (just Little Miss Frankie-Pants as she's the one least likely to hog the bed and kick me in her sleep!).  The rest will be at home on the sofa, but they would still be grateful if you could donate a couple of quid - that really would be fab!
