wear it pink 2012 · 26 October 2012 ·

Women are still getting breast cancer and dying from it. That’s why Breast Cancer Campaign and Breakthrough Breast Cancer have joined forces to become the UK’s largest dedicated breast cancer research charity. And with your help, together we can put an end to breast cancer, once and for all.

Story

Last year we raised £409, so this year the stakes have been raised...

If we raise £1000, Dr James Flanagan (Breast Cancer Campaign Fellow, Imperial College London) and members of his group (Kirsty Flower, Kevin Brennan and Angela Wilson) will dye their hair pink!

Please also donate here if you have enjoyed any baked goods (to be found in the foyer of the IRDB, or in the 1st floor kitchen of ICTEM, every monday in october) and if you are pledging to wear pink of the 26th of October. The more we raise in advance, the more likely you will see pink hair at the end of October!
