Dear Family and Friends:

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page. We are blessed to have all of you in our lives as well as to have everything we need. Our wedding will be a great day of celebration of our lives together! We wanted to use this opportunity to share our love with those who need it most. 

So for those of you who would prefer to donate to charity in celebration of our special day, we provided details below for a charity that we support, Creatives Against Poverty (CAP), a partner and beneficiary of British Asian Trust.

 

Yasmin is a skill donor to Creatives Against Poverty. In the past, she has organized a huge fashion show where she and her fellow modeling friends wore and sold clothes made by the war orphans CAP supports at the project in Congo.

Erick's track, "I like to move it" is what CAP has used for years in our expressive arts therapy workshops to unlock the creativity and lightness buried inside children who deal with the trauma of wars and natural disasters. Watch the kids here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xrk1FpXbqxg

BAT spends only 18 p for every pound they raise. They follow your donations and ask Creatives Against Poverty to bring back stories of success and impact that your dollars have enabled.
