My daughter was diagnosed with acute myloid leukemia on Christmas eve 2008. And endured six months of gruelling chemotherapy
In january 2010 she relapsed. The treatment this time required more intensive chemotherapy, followed by a bone marrow transplant in Yorkhill hospital Glasgow. Her little brother was a perfect match for the transplant, and he bravely donated bone marrow.
The second course of treatment has been completed, and we are now piecing our lives back together.
Cclasp have been there for us throughout. The charity provides support, transport, advice, fun, hope, and endless events or activities, not just for the child recieving treatment, but for siblings and parents as well.
Like so many other families, who have been in a similiar situation to our own, we will be forever gratefull to cclasp.
In an attempt to some way repay cclasp and help them to carry on bringing smiles to the faces of seriously ill kids and their families, I am doing a sponsered abseil over the forth rail bridge (and i'm not good with hieghts).
please help me to help them, by donating what you can.
Many thanks
