My girlfriend had been poorly for around a year, not being able to breathe properly, very lethargic and having pains in her chest. Being a young 45 year old we put it down to a chest infection. 

Sadly after having serious pains in her chest we went to hospital. This is where we found out Sarah had, had a heart attack  and had been suffering from angina for at least 12 months.

We were surprised to find out that this was hereditary as Sarah's Father and his siblings had all passed away with heart conditions/heart attacks.

We really want to raise as much as we can to support people who suffer with heart conditions/problems.

I am myself a lifelong scooterist, I've never been to Europe on my 1970 Lambretta an this year have decided to go to Switzerland which will be a 2 thousand mile round trip. I really would like to raise as much as I can! 

As all who ride scooters know lambretta scooters are not the most reliable form of transport so this should make the trip more memorable. 

Not much more to say other than wish me luck and I will see you all on the other side. 

I will be happy to accept the odd pint but other than that all donations to be made to the British heart foundation.
