The National Spinal Injuries Centre (NSIC) at Stoke Mandeville admit and treat patients with spinal cord injuries providing lifelong care for those who have suffered spinal cord injury. The centre is also the only dedicated facility in the UK for children with spinal cord injuries.

 

Evanthis was treated on numerous occasions following his operation in 1992 and it is largely thanks to their support and facilties combined with his strong will and determination that he managed to walk again.

 

For this reason we would like no flowers sent to his memorial service/chapel of rest or funeral but donations to help other spinal cord injury sufferers live a better life.
