9,000 children develop curable eye cancer each year.  7,000 of them will die due to late diagnosis and poor access to existing medical care.

Every Child Counts!  Please help us raise £9,000.00 - just £1 (US$1.50) for every child - and colour the world with hope for their cancer-free future!

Before she was five years old, English schoolgirl Daisy lost both her eyes to retinoblastoma, a highly curable eye cancer affecting babies and young children.  Using money from her own fund, Daisy's family offered help to two-year-old Rati from Botswana, who suffered a serious relapse of the same cancer due to delayed and incomplete treatment in Africa.  Despite receiving exceptional care at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children, Rati sadly died in August 2006.

7,000 children die each year due to late diagnosis and poor access to care.  Most of these children can be saved by increasing awareness and rapid access to existing medical care in their own country, without need to travel internationally for care.

Daisy's Eye Cancer Fund envisions the end of avoidable death, blindness and suffering from childhood eye cancer Through Rati's Challenge, we are working with a dedicated team in Kenya to develop a national retinoblastoma strategy that will improve survival and quality of life for affected families.  This strategy will become a model for resource limited countries around the world.  Please see the photo slide show and video for more information.

Every £1 you donate represents one child who will develop retinoblastoma this year, When we receive your donation, we will record it on our Every Child Counts page and map.  Every penny you donate will help us build better care for children with eye cancer in the poorest regions of our world. So please dig deep and help us colour the world with hope for all children with eye cancer.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. JustGiving will never sell your details or send unwanted emails. They send your money directly to Daisy Fund and reclaim Gift Aid on every eligible donation by UK taxpayers.

Please donate today and help us build a brighter future for the world's youngest and most vulnerable cancer warriors - because EVERY CHILD COUNTS!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
