"EVERY DROP COUNTS!"....

....is the brand new single, from singer-songwriter, Sedleigh, specially written for mother & baby charity, the UK Association For Milk Banking "UKAMB".

UKAMB provides expertise on donor breastmilk banking for premature and sick infants whose mothers can't provide milk, often through illness.

The project was suggested by Gillian Weaver from UKAMB, to provide background music for the charity's website.

What started as a small project to help a little-known infant charity has really grown!

"Every Drop Counts" has been winning over hearts even before it's release!

One US film director is considering using “Every Drop Counts” for a network documentary on the subject. His recent short film, "Mother's Milk", won a Jury Prize at the 2010 Houston film festival.

"Every Drop Counts" is now available via any donation to UKAMB via JustGiving.

"Donor breastmilk banking is an age-old method by which sick and premature babies can be fed with breastmilk when their own mothers are unable to provide any or enough of their own milk.

Avoiding the use of infant formula is particularly important for certain groups of vulnerable babies.

The availability of donor milk offers health advantages as well as supporting and encouraging mothers to provide their own breastmilk.

Many people do not realise that breastmilk from carefully screened donors is tested, heat treated and banked within specially organised facilities.

Gillian's idea was for Sedleigh to re-write the lyrics to the title track from his album "People Like You", to match the UKAMB "Every Drop Counts" motto.

In 2009, Sedleigh joined forces with producer Daniel Spiller for a new album. The new tracks were so good they decided to include a full production of "Every Drop Counts" in the album project.

Sedleigh's team agreed for 100% of the revenue from the single to go direct to UKAMB.

The minimum possible amount of your donation will be spent on posting CD's, if requested.
