Diabetes UK is the charity for people with diabetes, their family, friends and careers.

Our mission is to improve the lives of people with the condition and work towards a future without diabetes.

In the UK one person is diagnosed with diabetes every three minutes and three people die from its complications every hour.

It doesn't have to be like this – let's Get Serious about diabetes.

We're coming together with a single message: sign up to show your commitment to Get Serious about diabetes. By signing up, you join a community that is fighting one of the UK's biggest health challenges.

How to sign up:

To sign up, visit the Get Serious homepage, Click on the link: www.diabetes.org.uk/GetSerious, text SERIOUS to 84383 or fill out one of our Get Serious postcards and return it in the post.

Each person that signs up to Get Serious brings us one step closer to making diabetes a priority for everyone. We are one of the largest patient organisations in Europe. We stand up for the interests of people with diabetes by campaigning for better standards of care. We are the largest funder in the UK of research into better treatments for diabetics and the search for a cure. We provide practical support and information and safety-net services to help people manage their diabetes.
