FAIR CHILDREN YOUTH FOUNDATION (FCYF)

 

We are a nationally registered charity in Musanze, Rwanda. We started our foundation to restore human rights and re-create community after many years of civil war, genocide and disease

 

In just four years, we have successfully created:


-  A Deaf Centre for the hearing impaired (70 children and youth) 

-  A Vocational Training Centre, Cooperative & Shop for teenage orphans heading households (more than 150 youth trained) 

-  Wisdom Nursery & Primary School (more than 600 children; school has come top in district government exam results since opening) 

-  ‘Nkundabana’ Community Volunteer Mentoring network for hundreds of orphans in child-headed households. 

 

We also support local widows’ farming cooperatives & trade associations, lead human rights workshops and facilitate health care/insurance. Our leadership sits on the Musanze Hospital Committee and chairs the Musanze Joint Action Development Forum

 

Through FCYF’s community-led programs, we have opened the door for ‘000s of marginalized children and women to access basic rights. Your donation can help us extend our reach. Even small sums can change lives.
