Story

I DID IT! I REACHED THE KILI SUMMIT AT 17:45 ON 02/02/11.  IT WAS AN AGONISING BUT AWESOME EXPERIENCE & I STILL FEEL ON TOP OF THE WORLD!

AN ENORMOUS HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO EVERYONE - YOU'VE BEEN ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. YOUR LOVE, SUPPORT, SPECIAL WISHES & PRAYERS GOT ME TO THE TOP. I TRULY COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU..I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH.

I've traded in my high heels for hiking boots and my party wear for paramilitary wear! My training is accelerating full speed ahead...daily sessions at the gym and lots of preparation. I recently competed in HellRunner...it was seriously gruesome but I survived and completed it! Check out the video and pics on the left...it was a chilling minus 5 degrees but hellish fun!

Thanks enormously for supporting me and sponsoring my climb in aid of HOPE for Children. This amazing charity help disabled, orphaned, poor and exploited children, particularly those living in third world countries by providing basic necessities including food, water, education, health care and sustaining their long-term development.

I really need your help to raise £5,000 to help:

- provide secure, clean water supplies to orphanages;
- provide prosthetic limbs to child landmine victims;
- build permanent classrooms, toilets, provide books & HIV/AIDS awareness training.

Find out more about HOPE for Children’s incredible initiatives and achievements by visiting: www.hope-for-children.org.

Please, please dig deep, any amount, big or small will help.  You’ll be helping to change the lives of helpless children live a life free from poverty.

Your donation will go directly to the HOPE for Children's Charity and will not contribute in any way towards the cost of my climb which is completely self-funded.

Thanks very, very much for your time, support and generosity.
