Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 25 July (not long to go!!), Ayyaz, Akif, Farhan, Furrukh and I will be getting on our bikes and attempting to cycle from London to Cambridge, in a bid to raise money for a very worthy and deserving cause, namely the Essex Down’s Syndrome Support Group (EDSS).I know most of us have a few select charities close to our hearts that we donate to.... but please broaden your thoughts and compassion on this occasion and don’t exclude this important organisation that does so much for those impacted by Down’s Syndrome.
Why the EDSS? Well, for those of you who know me, you will know that my nephew Rayaan has Down’s Syndrome, and the charity has helped and supported him and his immediate family in many ways. It’s a volunteer-run charity and needs the support of donations to best offer its services. So people... this is where I’m directly asking you to support us and kindly donate whatever you can. Know that every donation helps and no amount is too little. Every penny and pound adds up to help them help others.
A little about the charity? The EDSS focus on promoting self-advocacy skills among young people with Down’s Syndrome. They provide support for people who have the condition, their families and caring professionals whilst improving public knowledge of Down’s Syndrome and striving for the rights of every person with the condition.
Thank you for your support and I pray you are rewarded for all your kindness.
