Farnborough Bibs & Sands are here to support anyone affected by the loss of a baby at any stage of pregnancy or after birth, no matter how long ago or how recent the loss and cover the area from Basingstoke, Petersfield, Guildford, Woking, Ascot, Bracknell, Wokingham and everywhere in between.
The group is run by volunteers who are all bereaved parents themselves and so understand the devastation and heartbreak of losing a child. We are not trained counsellors or health professionals but offer support, understanding, comfort and most importantly a listening ear through a local helpline, befriending service and monthly group meetings.
We also work in partnership with local healthcare professionals to improve the quality of care and services offered to bereaved families. In addition we promote research and improvements in practice that could help reduce the loss of babies’ lives.
All donations made via this page will go directly to Farnborough Bibs & Sands. The Gift Aid element will be retained by national Sands.
