Thank you for visiting my Justgiving page and THANK YOU for helping me raise so much money for this Scannappeal Channel Challenge.
As a reminder, in early 2010, I swam the shortest width of the English Channel in aid of Scannappeal, a local charity which raises money for hospital scanners in Bucks.
Over 11 weeks I swam 22 miles up and down the Chiltern and Shell pools to reach France. That was 1,344 lengths of a 25m pool.
On Thursday 3rd March 2011, I attended a special Patron's Reception hosted by Cilla Black to recognise my and others' support in raising over £60,000 for specialist echocardiography equipment.
This wouldn't have been possible if it hadn't been for your generous donations.
Many thanks indeed,
Fiona
