My story
Hi - thank you for visiting the First British Overland Fundraising Page.
JustGiving is honestly so much better than I thought ... they take their commision from the Gift Aid and not from your donation - so Longtown Mountain Rescue Team actually get more money by going through JustGiving and getting them to claim the Gift Aid ... simples! Here is what JustGiving have to say:

In a nutshell we are driving Series Land Rovers around the whole of the UK stopping at every National Park - and meeting the resident Search and Rescue Teams in each - in order to raise money for Longtown MRT as well as raising awareness of Mountain Rescue and the National Parks in general.

Longtown Mountain Rescue Team

Longtown MRT provides an emergency rescue service for anyone who is lost or injured in the mountains, rural or urban environment for whatever reason. We are self funding and operate 24/7 in all weather conditions, staffed entirely by unpaid volunteers.
